Conference Rules

Please be informed that Dialogue 2020, the 26th international conference on computational linguistics, will take place online on June 17-June 202020. You can find the program here.

Registration

You have to register to participate in online events and to upload your presentation. This year the participation in the Conference is free.

Pre-publication of presentations

The authors will have to record a full video of their presentations (up to 30 minutes) and send it to the conference organizing Committee by June 12.  We hope that all our authors will cope with this task – if there are any questions, we will be happy to answer them.

The organizing Committee will publicate the presentations and will provide access to them to all registered participants 2 days before the corresponding meeting. Those who wish will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the speakers ' presentations in advance.

There is no provision for saving presentations after the conference.

Online meeting

All registered participants will receive links to the session venue.

Speakers will have special access to demonstrate their presentations. The speaker's speech at the session consists of two parts:

  • Short presentation of the report (no more than 15 minutes). Speakers can use the slides that were in the pre-recorded full speech;
  • 15-minute discussion under the guidance of the section moderator, during which questions will be voiced from the audience.

The rules of sections based on the results of DialogueEvaluation tracks may differ slightly.  This will be communicated to participants.

We plan to hold training sessions with speakers in advance.

Each section will have its own link. Participants can move freely between sessions.

Poster session

The poster session reports are also published in advance.  As usual, session have a common part in which everyone makes a 3-5-minute presentation. After the end of the presentations, each author "goes to his own room", where he answers questions from guests for an hour.
